AWARDS

Our magazine has grown tremendously over the past 6 years. In fact, our President, Mona L. Faris is receiving an award from the National Association of Women Business Owners for her efforts in assisting minorities with providing business advise and opportunities. She is a champion for diversity causes.

Her" Remarkable Woman" award and was given to her on October 14, 2005 in Irvine, California. In addition, she has been awarded "Champion of the Year" as well as Orange County, California's "Most Influential Woman". I am informing you about her because with Mona Lisa Faris behind the magazine your company will get the response you need. If you’re looking at targeting smart, intelligent, career minded, professional women here it is: The Professional Woman’s Magazine. With Mona at the helm the company has a solid reputation, great creditability, strong shelf live, growing subscribers, expert in diversity, anything else you can think of. …Companies will receive recognition as a diversity employer and or diverse supplier.

The magazine is published quarterly along with the Black EOE Journal and the Professional Woman's Magazine, her other 15 year old successful diversity employment and business magazines.

She personally attends many conferences “I attend these conferences because I like to meet my advertisers and talk to the many readers about the magazine. I want to know what I’m doing right and to make it even better.” In order to have a great magazine you need to always be in touch with your readers and talking to them face to face you learn a lot about your target audience”. “I attend a variety of conferences such as the National Urban League, National Black MBA, NCLR, LULAC, WITI, NAWBO, WLE just to name a few.”

As a publisher, Mona’s most important goal is to provide business and employment opportunities to women with a special focus and emphasis on minority women. The Hispanic Network Magazine is the connection for the Fortune 500 Company to reach and find amazing to employ and or if they’re looking for diverse suppliers.

Mona is often asked to speak at conferences and events to encourage and promote diversity and equal opportunity. She encourages women to “dare to soar” reach their goals, start your own business, or take their business to the next level or apply for the "dream" job. Her advise is, “Have a passion for what you do, envision the dream and success, be persistent, have a good attitude, have faith in God and yourself and you’ll get the power to do what ever your heart desires”. Finally she advises on “breaking out” or “make your own path or road to success be a leader not a follower”.

Mona has met influential women such as Maria Shriver, Hillary Clinton, Carolyn Kepcher, Gloria Allred just to name a few. The cover stories are women role models and leaders. The magazines are found at bookstores and newsstands such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com.

Her future goal is to provide more opportunities to the physically challenged. She’s involved on the Latina Leadership Council, Locks of Love- donating hair for children with cancer and promotes Breast Cancer Awareness
